Mass General Brigham’s McLean Hospital invites a Radiology Technologist to join our team. Under the general direction of the Manager, you will perform a variety of patient care duties to produce diagnostic imaging through the operation of radiographic equipment. You will work both as an independent contributor and as a vital member of a multi-disciplinary team.

What You'll Do

Perform imaging using radiographic equipment, utilizing proper technique.
Explain safety protocols, exams, and procedures to patients.
Operate fluoroscopic, portable, diagnostic, and other equipment as required.
Confirm correct patient and exam through patient confirmation, interview, and medical record review.
Explain the exam to patients considering individual physical, emotional, and language needs.
Adjust equipment to correct settings and set automated and manual technical factors.
Perform required imaging according to department protocol and/or Radiologist request.
Ensure exams are correctly labeled and successfully transmitted to PACS.
Adhere to all departmental and hospital policies.
Engage in additional duties as assigned while maintaining flexibility to departmental needs.

What We're Looking For

Radiologic certificate or diploma.
MA Temporary Radiography License upon hire.
ARRT and permanent rad tech license within 1 year.

Nice to Have

Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
