Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to analyze systems, identify gaps, and develop solutions. This senior role involves managing tasks for other analysts, preparing workflow documentation, and assisting with system implementation and maintenance within our family-oriented work environment.
What You'll Do
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs and identify gaps in functionality between systems. Assist in developing solutions to eliminate gaps.
- Review computer system capabilities and workflow to recommend system modifications and enhancements.
- Assist with managing and coordinating task assignments of other business analysts.
- Study existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and improve production or workflow.
- Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify operations to be performed by equipment, computer programs, and personnel.
- Conduct studies pertaining to development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs. Review and participate in writing software specifications.
- May be involved in the training and mentoring of other Business Analysts.
- Assist user departments in implementing new systems and assist with maintaining and error correction after implementation.
