About the Role

Freedom Mortgage is hiring a Business Analyst to support business operations by analyzing requirements, identifying problems, opportunities, and solutions. In this role, you will assess current practices, evaluate business structures, gather critical information from stakeholders, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for new projects.

What You'll Do

  • Assess current practices and functions, collect information, and analyze industry trends to determine organizational objectives.
  • Evaluate company’s current functions and business structures.
  • Recommend and provide insights for new projects or programs by analyzing organizational requirements.
  • Improve systems by studying products and making recommendations.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders; analyze and summarize information and trends into technical reports.
  • Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Provide guidance to junior staff.
  • Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of business structures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Analytical thinking skills.

Nice to Have

  • Mortgage knowledge is a plus.
