Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, assess, and document business requirements using best practices in analysis.
- Convert business needs into functional specifications, data models, and process workflows.
- Act as a liaison between business teams and engineering to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Support regulatory reporting, financial data initiatives, and risk-related projects through detailed analysis.
- Evaluate the impact of changes in regulations, data structures, or business processes.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing, including planning, execution, and issue resolution.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation such as business requirement documents, user stories, and test cases.
- Operate within Agile and Scrum frameworks, contributing to sprints and iterative delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline, along with 5–10 years of business analysis experience. Proficiency in SQL is essential for querying and validating data. Experience in financial services, regulatory compliance, or risk domains is required. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is expected.
Preferred candidates will have exposure to modern data platforms such as Databricks or data lakes, along with a working understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
