University of Chicago Medicine is hiring a Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing cash automation technology equipment directly at customer sites. Your work will focus on troubleshooting electronic and electro-mechanical equipment while delivering exceptional customer service.
What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, and service multi-vendor cash automation equipment at assigned customer locations.
- Diagnose and resolve product performance problems efficiently.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent follow-through and communication with customers and team members.
- Maintain tools and parts inventory in a secure and accurate fashion.
What We're Looking For
- Technical aptitude or interest in learning to repair electronics and electro-mechanical components.

- Self-motivated and well organized.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- High School Diploma.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must hold a valid US driver’s license.
- Ability to lift and/or move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Previous experience with multi-vendor ATMs and cash automation equipment.

- Compensation: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on relevant experience.
