About the Role

The role involves shaping build and release strategies for a sophisticated software product used in clinical environments, with a focus on automation, cross-team collaboration, and continuous improvement in agile development workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with an agile team developing advanced mobile patient monitoring systems and cloud-connected healthcare networks.
  • Support a cutting-edge platform delivering real-time clinical insights to healthcare providers at the point of care.
  • Contribute to the creation of a pioneering enterprise-wide hospital solution transforming patient monitoring through mobility, wireless technology, and cloud integration.
  • Define and implement build and release strategies for highly complex software products with multiple concurrent release cycles.
  • Oversee continuous code integration throughout the software development lifecycle and operate as a technical authority.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of parallel development workflows and their impact on build integrity and version deployment.
  • Lead build, release, and CI processes for large-scale product updates, often managing multiple simultaneous releases.
  • Take ownership of the release lifecycle, driving improvements in scalability, efficiency, and deployment accuracy across environments.
  • Supervise critical project deliverables and guide less experienced team members.
  • Help establish quality standards and processes to enhance software reliability and consistency.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments to align timelines, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Enhance and maintain test infrastructure and continuous integration frameworks used by development teams.
  • Identify and advocate for engineering best practices across the organization.
  • Demonstrate advanced expertise in creating and running automated build scripts and deployment pipelines.
  • Stay current with evolving build and release methodologies and train team members accordingly.
  • Partner with developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery via robust build and deployment systems.
  • Support peers in identifying root causes of defects and developing effective resolutions.
  • Enforce adherence to build and release best practices within agile scrum teams.
  • Apply industry-leading techniques to optimize build, release, and continuous integration workflows.
  • Remain informed of and comply with all relevant quality documentation, policies, goals, and regulatory requirements.

This includes HTML and CSS coding, assisting in the QA, testing and the actual publishing of the websites * Assist in providing back-up design support when needed * To be part of a team that applies knowledge of web development to build and deliver custom websites and on-line advertisements (e.g., banner ads) for customers. This includes supporting website development services as well as rich media ad design / development. Qualifications: • Associates degree or related experience in a technical field required• Professional experience in web development, including website development, building site pages and developing code• Working knowledge of developing and integrating themes into WordPress• HTML page creation from raw format design files – such as Photoshop PSD files• Fluent in CSS tableless layouts and experience with CSS frameworks such as Foundation or Bootstrap• Ability to write, debug and test scripting languages like Javascript and experience with frameworks such as jQuery and jQueryUI• API Integration into existing CMS systems (preferably WordPress)• Managing and organizing source code revisions and files with versioning tools such as Git or SVN• Build site pages, unit test, and support the implementation of customer web sites• Analyze and document user requirements.• Maintain and update new and existing customer websites• Acquire and maintain knowledge of current standards, policies and procedures• Collaborate with other team members and cross-functional units to ensure quality• Maintain and develop technical skills to keep current in systems programming and analysis techniques Additional Information: All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
