About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Bridge Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a focus on bridge design and analysis. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality bridge projects that meet safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze bridge structures using advanced software tools.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and field investigations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations.
- Develop construction plans and cost estimates.
- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals.
- Provide technical support during construction.
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders.
- Implement quality control measures.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new bridge projects.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with bridge projects.
- Collaborate with environmental and geotechnical engineers.
- Evaluate existing bridge structures for rehabilitation or replacement.
- Participate in project meetings and presentations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
- Ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.
- Conduct load rating analyses.
- Develop and review construction schedules.
- Perform site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality.
- Prepare and review contract documents.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and bids.

What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge engineering.
