About the Role
This role is responsible for leading the development, negotiation, and administration of IT contracts, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards while improving contract management workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle management of IT contracts
- Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors and service providers
- Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and data security standards
- Collaborate with IT and procurement teams on vendor onboarding
- Review and approve contract amendments and renewals
- Maintain a centralized contract repository with accurate documentation
- Identify risks in vendor agreements and propose mitigation strategies
- Support audits by providing up-to-date contract records
- Develop and implement standardized contract templates
- Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations
- Provide guidance on contractual obligations to internal stakeholders
- Track key milestones and deliverables in active contracts
- Ensure data privacy and cybersecurity clauses are enforced
- Work with legal counsel on complex contractual issues
- Streamline contract approval workflows to reduce cycle time
- Conduct due diligence on new technology vendors
- Manage relationships with third-party legal and contract resources
- Report on contract metrics and compliance trends
- Train teams on contract policies and procedures
- Evaluate cost structures and pricing models in vendor proposals
- Ensure adherence to corporate procurement policies
- Coordinate with finance on payment terms and invoicing
- Assist in consolidation of redundant vendor agreements
- Promote use of contract management tools across departments
- Support integration of new technologies through vendor agreements
