Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) is hiring a Break Relief Bracket 2c

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Break Relief Machine Operator to play a key support role in our production operations. You will ensure machine operators across multiple areas receive their breaks on time while learning to operate various pieces of equipment. This position is vital for maintaining smooth, continuous production.

What You'll Do

• Learn to operate multiple machines and positions within the production area.
• Provide breaks to other operators in roles like DMC, RMC, Cheesemaker, and VAT Helper.
• Follow standard operating procedures in detail without deviation.
• Troubleshoot equipment shortfalls and perform repairs not requiring the Maintenance Department.
• Understand and perform Clean-in-Place (CIP) on all equipment and clean up as needed.
• Check acids and pH levels.
• Monitor machine and product temperatures to ensure product is at the correct specification.
• Pull product samples from machines and provide them to the lab.
• Follow all established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), maintaining food safety and quality.
• Neatly, accurately, and legibly maintain all required records and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Compliance with all Saputo food safety, quality programs, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated integrity in all business activities with employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Reliable and consistent attendance.
• Availability to work any shift, overtime, or holidays as required, including covering key personnel absences.

Nice to Have

• Previous production machine operating work experience in food manufacturing, preferably in the dairy industry.
