The Bosch Group is looking for a Head of Occupational Health Services (m/f/div.) to lead the medical department at our Lohr site, supporting approximately 7,000 employees. In this pivotal leadership role, you will manage a dedicated team and provide strategic medical guidance to the company.
What You'll Do
- Lead the occupational health department for the Lohr site and its 7,000 employees.
- Manage and develop a team of 14 staff members (occupational medical assistants).
- Advise the company on fundamental occupational health questions across other locations (e.g., personnel selection, works agreements).
- Perform the statutory duties of a company doctor according to § 3 ASiG and ArbSchG as well as state and trade association regulations.
- Provide acute and emergency medical care for employees, including organizing first aid and workplace hazard response.
- Conduct examinations according to legal and company regulations and advise on workplace rehabilitation.
- Participate in workplace integration management and facilitate gradual reintegration processes.
- Foster trusting collaboration with all operational departments, employees, and colleagues.
- Contribute your expertise to the Bosch Health Management program.
What We're Looking For
- A completed degree in human medicine.
- A completed specialist qualification in occupational medicine (Facharzt für Arbeitsmedizin) or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong social competence and empathy.
- High personal commitment and a sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, collegiality, and leadership strength.
- Great interest in the diverse tasks of occupational medicine within an international industrial company.
- Several years of relevant professional experience.
- Additional qualifications in emergency and travel medicine.
- Confident use of MS-Office and specialized software tools.
- Excellent command of German and English.
