Syngenta is looking for a Sales Representative (m/w/d) specializing in crop protection for arable farming, with a focus on hops, in the Mittelfranken region. You will play a key role in building sustainable customer relationships to generate demand for our innovative crop protection solutions.
What You'll Do
- Build sustainable customer relationships with trade customers, local advisors, contractors, and farmers.
- Implement the seasonal campaign to achieve your sales targets.
- Achieve an optimal Syngenta market share among farmers and dealers in your sales territory.
- Create awareness and demand for Syngenta products and services through personal contacts and information dissemination.
- Plan product consumption for the territory and secure this planning with key customers.
- Organize and implement the marketing plan for the territory, including field days, inspections, customer presentations, and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the sales territories.
- Conduct timely reporting and documentation in the CRM system (SFDC).
- Develop, evaluate, and update customer data to support customer-specific marketing, ensuring data quality.
- Handle initial recording of complaints.
What We're Looking For
- Agricultural training or agricultural studies with in-depth knowledge of all arable crops.
- Agricultural expertise and technical understanding, for example in application and seed treatment technology.
- Several years of professional experience in consulting or sales, with associated commercial skills and high social competence.
- Ability to work independently and self-reliantly.
- Convincing and confident presence, including presentation skills for larger groups.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (PPT, Excel, Word) and CRM software.
- High willingness to travel (up to 80% travel activity).
- Valid car driver's license.
