Paired is hiring a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to support a home services business. This is a dual-role position split between maintaining financial health through bookkeeping and ensuring smooth daily operations through administrative support.
What You'll Do
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoice tracking and payment follow-ups
- Make 30–50 outbound calls per week to customers with past-due invoices
- Handle payment reminders and address basic invoice questions
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
- Process payments and reconcile accounts
- Generate financial reports and statements as needed
- Provide general administrative assistance to support daily business operations
- Maintain organized filing systems, both digital and physical
- Handle data entry and spreadsheet management
- Coordinate communications between team members and customers
- Support additional operational tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable making customer-facing phone calls
- Solid understanding of basic accounting fundamentals
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
Nice to Have
- QuickBooks experience (certification is a plus but not required)
- Previous experience in home service businesses or similar industries
- CPA certification or similar accounting credentials (bonus)
- Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and collections
