Porch Group, Inc. is looking for a Booking Specialist for Porch Handyman Services. In this role, you will contact homeowners who have submitted a lead form for a home project. Your mission is to understand their needs, build value through our services, and schedule an appointment with the right professional, all while delivering a delightful customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Assist homeowners who have submitted a lead form and have a project to complete on their homes.
- Build value through our services and convey the benefits of working with our handymen.
- Book an appointment for the homeowner’s project while providing a delightful experience.
- Understand the homeowner's needs by learning about their project in-depth.
- Ensure we match the homeowner with the proper professional for their project needs.
- Learn as much as possible about various home projects.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years working in customer-facing roles required.
- Retail, hospitality, call center, or other related customer-facing experience.
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to deliver a world-class customer experience while balancing the needs of the business.
- Team and solution-oriented.
- Willingness to go above and beyond for customers.
- Regular attendance and adherence to scheduled shifts and timeliness.
- Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload.
- Equipment: a laptop (or a desktop computer) and an internet connection that meet our minimum requirements.
