Dane Street is seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon to provide expert, independent medical record reviews. This is a fully remote, 1099 contract role with flexible scheduling; you can accept or decline cases based on your availability. Compensation is on a per-case basis.
What You'll Do
- Perform thorough review and analysis of prepared medical records
- Provide expert, advisory-only opinions regarding the claimant’s current condition and potential future medical needs
- Respond to clinical questions to support claims management
- Deliver clear, well-supported written reports within an expected 5-day turnaround time
- Note: This role involves no face-to-face interaction with claimants; it is a record-review–only role
What We're Looking For
- Board certification in Neurosurgery is required
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with medical record reviews, IMEs, or peer reviews
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written communication abilities
