0x is hiring a Blockchain Support Engineer

About the Role

This role involves providing technical support to developers using blockchain tools, diagnosing platform issues, and contributing to system improvements through feedback and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems reported by developers using the platform
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes of system issues
  • Provide technical guidance for integrating blockchain protocols and APIs
  • Document common issues and create solutions for public developer resources
  • Respond to support tickets and community inquiries in a timely manner
  • Monitor system health and escalate critical incidents
  • Assist in testing and validating updates to blockchain infrastructure
  • Translate developer feedback into actionable product improvements
  • Support smart contract deployment and debugging workflows
  • Work with cryptographic key management and wallet integration issues
  • Troubleshoot transaction failures and gas optimization concerns
  • Explain consensus mechanisms and network behavior to technical users
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving blockchain standards
  • Assist with onboarding new developers to the ecosystem
  • Improve support automation and response efficiency
  • Contribute to API documentation and developer tooling guides
  • Track and report recurring technical challenges
  • Engage with open-source communities related to blockchain tools
  • Support decentralized exchange protocol implementations
  • Verify correctness of blockchain event indexing and data queries
  • Help maintain reliability of public-facing developer endpoints
  • Coordinate with security team on vulnerability disclosures
  • Escalate protocol-level bugs to core development teams
  • Guide users through node connectivity and synchronization problems
  • Assist with rate limit and API access troubleshooting

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with blockchain node operation
  • Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
  • Prior work in a developer relations or support role
  • Knowledge of The Graph or similar indexing protocols
  • Experience with formal verification tools
  • Familiarity with Layer 2 scaling solutions
  • Understanding of MEV and transaction ordering concepts
  • Background in security auditing or penetration testing
  • Published technical content for developers
  • Speaking experience at developer conferences
