As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining cloud-based data systems on Google Cloud Platform. Your work will directly support analytics, machine learning applications, and large language model integrations, ensuring reliable and efficient performance across distributed environments.
What You'll Do
- Design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure for data processing and analytics using GCP services including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
- Support the lifecycle of machine learning and LLM workloads, from deployment to scaling and monitoring.
- Build and maintain automated ETL/ELT pipelines to streamline data movement and transformation.
- Implement infrastructure as code and scripting solutions to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability.
- Monitor cloud resources, identify performance bottlenecks, and apply optimizations to enhance system stability.
- Collaborate with engineering and strategy teams to align technical designs with business goals and share cloud best practices.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in cloud or software engineering roles.
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform and its core data services.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipeline development and maintenance.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows and collaborative development practices.
- Exposure to or interest in machine learning applications on cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of digital advertising technologies such as Google Ads, Meta, and Campaign Manager is beneficial.
