  • Drive innovation, prototyping, and solution recommendations for DeFi applications.
  • Collaborate with key partners in adopting emerging technologies.
  • Define the blockchain architecture vision, encompassing on-chain and off-chain components, data, security, and integration.
  • Drive a multi-year roadmap for tokenization, DeFi, cross-chain solutions, data platforms, and zero-knowledge adoption.
  • Establish governance for smart contracts, data indexing, and interoperability standards across Asset Management and enterprise systems.
  • Bridge strategic planning with hands-on execution for critical platform components and accelerators.
  • Accelerate high-impact, compliant blockchain use cases in areas like investment operations, digital assets, risk, and distribution.
  • Deliver secure, scalable multi-chain platforms (EVM and non-EVM) with audited smart contracts.
  • Provide reliable blockchain data ingestion, indexing, querying, analytics, lineage, and governance.
  • Optimize architectures to reduce gas fees, latency, operational risk, and total cost of ownership.
  • Elevate engineering maturity through patterns, SLAs, KPIs, security posture, and observability.
  • Evaluate, prototype, and recommend open-source and vendor technologies and platforms.
  • Showcase technology leadership by participating in cross-company initiatives.

  • Expertise in cross-chain and interoperability (LayerZero, Wormhole, CCIP, oracle strategy, bridge risk mitigation).
  • Experience in blockchain data engineering (nodes, archive, event decoding, reorg handling, custom indexers, ETL to data lake/warehouse).
  • Data stack expertise (Kafka, Flink/Spark, ClickHouse/Snowflake, columnar design, caching tiers, GraphQL/gRPC APIs).
  • Proven ability in performance and cost optimization (gas profiling, storage layout, node topology, capacity planning).
  • Security and assurance skills (threat modeling, formal verification, Slither, MythX, Echidna, fuzzing with Foundry).
  • Knowledge of zero-knowledge and Layer 2 technologies (rollups, prover integration patterns, fraud/validity proof considerations, MEV mitigation).
  • Multi-language proficiency: Solidity plus at least one of Rust, Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Enterprise integration experience (PKI/mTLS, IAM, secrets/HSM/KMS, event-driven architectures, API gateway patterns).
  • Cloud architecture skills (AWS/Azure networking, container orchestration, DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines).
  • Observability and resilience experience (distributed tracing, metrics, log correlation for on/off-chain components).
  • Ability to produce formal architecture artifacts (C4, sequence diagrams, data flow, threat and recovery models).
  • Strong global stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with ALM tools like JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Git.
  • Solid experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and Scrum).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with real-world asset tokenization and transfer restriction frameworks.
  • Knowledge of wallet/MPC/custody platform integration.
  • Advanced data governance expertise (cataloging, lineage, quality, retention policies).
  • Financial domain expertise (trading, settlement, NAV, portfolio accounting).
  • Privacy-enhancing techniques (confidential computing, selective disclosure).
  • Familiarity with accelerator/incubator environments and venture evaluation.
