Cushman & Wakefield is looking for a BIM Design Coordinator to be responsible for every aspect of the project, leading a team to meet client expectations. You will ensure all Consultant, Contractor, and Vendor deliveries meet Client BIM requirements and oversee BIM development from conceptualization through construction to the As-built Stage.
What You'll Do
- Ensure Consultant, Contractor, and Vendor deliveries are as per Client BIM requirements.
- Monitor BIM development progress throughout all project phases up to LOD500.
- Validate BIM deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.
- Facilitate BIM coordination between Design consultants, contractors, and Client stakeholders.
- Oversee integration of models across disciplines (Architectural, Structural, MEPF, Civil, Landscape, Façade, etc.).
- Supervise clash detection processes and ensure timely resolution.
- Review clash reports and verify incorporation of resolutions into updated models.
- Ensure vertical and horizontal coordination of services and systems.
- Supervise and conduct periodic BIM audits and quality checks.
- Ensure adherence to COBie2 standards for data exchange and facility management integration.
- Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure drawings are derived from BIM.
- Review models and detailed drawings derived from BIM.
- Liaise with contractors and vendors for shop drawings, construction documents, and as-built models.
- Ensure all 2D drawings comply with Client graphic standards.
- Finalize Quantity Extraction Schedule Formats.
- Establish standardized formats for quantity schedules tailored to each building system.
- Ensure formats include essential parameters like element type, dimensions, material specifications.
- Manage all quantity data sheets.
- Organize quantity sheets by discipline and project phase.
- Store and manage these sheets within a centralized Common Data Environment (CDE) or ACC.
- Oversee 4D BIM simulations linked to construction schedules.
- Review planned vs. actual progress simulations every 10 days and during management meetings.
- Ensure simulations are presented in Synchro, Navisworks, or Revit formats.
- Validate COBie data inputs and outputs at each phase.
- Ensure required data is received from stakeholders and help map BIM data to CMMS systems.
- Review facility management data for completeness and accuracy.
- Verify deployment of qualified BIM personnel by contractors.
- Monitor contractor compliance with staffing and resource commitments.
- Oversee and manage handover of BIM data between stakeholders at different project stages.
- Ensure all record models reflect actual site conditions and approved changes.
- Validate integration of fabrication and detailing models into the final BIM.
- Maintain regular communication with Client and all stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit BIM progress reports, audit findings, and compliance summaries.
- Facilitate review meetings and ensure timely resolution of BIM-related issues.
What We're Looking For
- B.E. Engineering with certification in BIM.
- 13 years & above of relevant experience.
- Technical awareness of civil, MEP, and architectural works.
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
