About the Role

Oscar is looking for a Bilingual (Spanish) Physician Assistant to perform virtual health assessments for our members. You will provide preventative care, conduct medication reconciliation, diagnose medical conditions, and offer health coaching, all while helping to refactor healthcare in a personalized way.

What You'll Do

  • Perform preventative care screenings, complete medication reconciliation, diagnose medical conditions and provide health coaching, referrals and treatment when clinically appropriate.
  • Outreach members who are more chronically ill based on historical and suspected health information.
  • Engage members who have a lower probability of seeing their PCP.
  • Identify areas in the member's medical journey that can be improved by increasing their access to care with a licensed provider.
  • Cross-train into urgent care and/or virtual primary care service line.
  • Interact with members virtually, including virtual assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

What We're Looking For

  • PA from an accredited program.
  • Board Certification (NCCPA).
  • Licensed in Georgia and one of the following states: Florida, Texas, or Ohio.
  • Bilingual Spanish fluency (read, write, & speak).
  • 3+ years of experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Clinical Documentation Improvement and/or managing HEDIS quality measures.
  • Ability to obtain licensure in additional states.

Team & Environment

You will report into the Director, Virtual Health Assessment.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: $61.56 - $92.34 per hour.

This role is open to candidates located in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia.
