Grafana Labs is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Grafana Loki team. Loki is a multi-tenant log aggregation system designed for scalability and cost-effectiveness. You will join a team of engineers focused on building and maintaining this critical observability platform.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and ship core features for Grafana Loki
- Optimize the system for high performance and scale
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Collaborate with the open-source community on contributions
- Write high-quality, maintainable code with appropriate tests
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems
- Strong proficiency in Go
- Deep understanding of systems architecture, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote-first environment
Nice to Have
- Background in observability, log management, or metrics systems
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications
- Contributions to major open-source projects
- Familiarity with the Grafana ecosystem
