Medavie is looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Analyst - MAC to join the Medical Authorization Centre within our Federal Administered Programs. You will be on the front line, receiving and processing health-related incoming calls, faxes, mail, and web-based requests from healthcare professionals to ensure authorization requests are handled accurately and efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Respond to inquiries regarding healthcare benefits, program eligibility, and other general questions.
- Liaise directly with medical consultants and healthcare professionals to clarify request details.
- Review, analyze, and process requests from healthcare professionals according to established criteria.
- Organize work and information to ensure requests are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Correspond with clients, medical consultants, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders through various communication channels.
What We're Looking For
- Must be fluently bilingual (English and French) both in writing and verbally.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure of time restraints.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to multitask and navigate between multiple software applications simultaneously.
- Ability to concentrate and have high attention to detail while using a computer for prolonged periods.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Must obtain and maintain Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B), including Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check, and must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.
Nice to Have
- Post-secondary diploma or degree and/or relevant working experience in customer service or office administration.
