Pearl Talent is hiring a Bilingual Billing Specialist (Spanish/English) to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant billing operations. You will be the key to clear communication across language barriers, supporting both Spanish- and English-speaking stakeholders throughout the revenue cycle.
What You'll Do
- Prepare, review, and submit billing claims accurately and on time.
- Process billing information involving Spanish- and English-language documentation.
- Translate billing-related documents between Spanish and English when required.
- Monitor claim status and follow up with payers or stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or denied claims.
- Communicate billing outcomes, statements, balances, and payment options clearly in Spanish or English.
- Serve as the primary bilingual contact for billing inquiries.
- Handle sensitive billing conversations with professionalism and cultural awareness.
- Verify benefits and eligibility, and obtain and track authorizations.
- Post payments accurately, reconcile records, and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Ensure all billing activities comply with privacy and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized and accurate billing documentation.
- Support the creation and maintenance of bilingual billing templates.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent written and verbal communication in Spanish and English.
- 1–2+ years of experience in billing, collections, or revenue cycle roles.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to billing accuracy.
- Proven experience handling billing documentation and account follow-ups.
- Ability to translate billing-related information between Spanish and English.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Professional handling of confidential financial information.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, or finance.
- Familiarity with medical or insurance billing terminology.
- Billing or revenue cycle certifications.
- Experience working with Spanish-speaking customer or patient populations.
- Exposure to multi-location or high-volume billing environments.

- Billing or accounting systems (any industry-standard platform).
- Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Email, phone systems, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams.
- Practice management or billing platforms (preferred).
- Accounting software like QuickBooks (preferred).
- Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite (preferred).
- Patient or customer portals and messaging systems (preferred).
- Translation or documentation tools (preferred).
