Mass General Brigham Community Physicians, Inc. is hiring a temporary Nurse Practitioner to provide remote primary care coverage for leaves of absence from May through September. You will assess and manage patient populations, providing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions remotely for our not-for-profit organization dedicated to patient care, research, and community service.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct care, counseling, and education to a designated patient population.
- Perform complete histories and physical examinations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and follow up on care plans based on examination and test findings.
- Order medications and write prescriptions per organizational policies.
- Provide high-quality, timely documentation including admission, progress, procedure, operative, and discharge notes.
- Perform bedside procedures appropriate to the patient population.
- May precept a small group of learners.
What We're Looking For
- Masters in Nursing.
- Valid Advanced Practice RN (APRN-NP) license.
- Must live in Massachusetts or New England.
- Able to travel onsite with 24 hour notice.
- Available for onsite orientation for the first two weeks.
Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly pay range: $59.04 - $83.59.
Work Mode
This is a remote position, though you must be available for local onsite travel. The role is associated with a location at 399 Revolution Drive.
