Zendesk is looking for a Benefits Partner to shape the future of employee benefits across the AMER region. In this strategic program management role, you will design and implement offerings that attract and retain talent, empower employees, and align with our organizational objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and oversee employee programs aligned with organizational values, goals, and market competitive practices.
  • Develop and execute effective communication plans that convey the value of benefit programs.
  • Design and implement efficient delivery models to provide a consumer-grade employee experience.
  • Manage relationships with benefit vendors and brokers, including negotiating contracts and monitoring performance.
  • Partner with People Operations, Payroll, HRIS, and IT teams to operationalize benefits programs.
  • Provide guidance to People Operations on employee escalations.
  • Manage compliance and risk, including local regulatory reporting and audits.
  • Continuously assess program effectiveness through data and analytics to drive optimization.
  • Lead global initiatives aimed at elevating the Benefits function.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in Benefits or Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of global statutory benefits requirements and government regulations (EEOC, ADA, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused and collaborative mindset.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits program design and management (health, risk, retirement, leave) and market trends.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to foster employee understanding.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in leading change management efforts for benefits program changes.
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in leveraging data to drive program decisions.
  • Strong cultural awareness and appreciation for diverse employee backgrounds.
  • Ability to balance empathy for employees’ needs with business goals.
  • Strong financial acumen and proficiency in process design for benefits programs.
  • Previous experience with HRIS and benefits administration software.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to respond to changing priorities.
  • Strong growth mindset, learning agility, and ability to think globally while acting locally.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
  • A creative approach to problem-solving.

Team & Environment

You will partner with People Operations, Payroll, HRIS, IT, and other teams to deliver effective benefits programs.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary Range: $114,000.00-$172,000.00
  • Flexible working policy

This is a hybrid role based in the AMER region.
