About the Role
The administrator will oversee benefit operations, assist employees with plan selections, maintain records, and coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.
Responsibilities
- Administer health, dental, vision, and life insurance programs
- Support open enrollment processes and employee onboarding
- Respond to employee inquiries about benefit options and coverage
- Maintain accurate employee records in benefits systems
- Coordinate with third-party providers for claims and service issues
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Prepare reports for audits and internal reviews
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of new benefit offerings
- Distribute benefit communications and educational materials
- Track employee eligibility and life event changes
- Manage COBRA administration and related documentation
- Process benefit elections and premium payments
- Monitor vendor performance and service level agreements
- Update benefits-related content on internal portals
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate deductions
- Handle confidential data with strict privacy standards
- Assist in annual benefit plan renewals
- Support wellness program coordination
- Track compliance deadlines for mandated disclosures
- Troubleshoot employee benefit issues promptly
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of benefits regulations
- Organize employee benefit fairs and information sessions
- Assist with retirement plan administrative tasks
- Ensure consistent application of benefit policies
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
