MSM Technology, LLC seeks an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer to provide senior-level leadership for our enterprise virtual desktop environment. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our AVD deployment, from design and configuration to maintenance and optimization, while acting as the subject matter expert for complex technical challenges.

What You'll Do

Provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators for resolving VDI issues.
Offer guidance on desktop optimization for platform interoperability and act as a liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.
Provide endpoint support and resolution for Virtual Desktop-related tasks.
Maintain advanced knowledge of administration, engineering, and implementation for VDI technologies.
Operate across multiple complex production environments with numerous stakeholders.
Apply extensive technical expertise and full knowledge of related disciplines.
Conduct trade studies and make recommendations on solutions and 'make buy' decisions.

What We're Looking For

Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
Ability to obtain a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) clearance.
Master’s degree + 7 years experience OR 16 years of total experience.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Networking, Storage, and Virtual Desktops.
Experience managing and administering Windows Servers.
Proficiency with Azure AD, Intune, and FSLogix.
Experience in VDI profile management.
Knowledge of endpoint protection, policy management, and application of STIGs.
Experience with AVD integration with Office 365 services.
Skills in desktop software provisioning and support services.
A proven ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment.

Nice to Have

Some experience (1+ years) with any or all of these: MS SQL, Puppet, Chef, Qualys, SCCM, Intune, or other MDM solutions.
Some experience (1+ years) in setup and integration with IIS and SQL Server.
Some experience (2+ years) with Azure Security Tools such as Sentinel.
