Codec is hiring an Azure Cloud Solution Architect to join our Cloud & Infrastructure Consultancy team. In this role, you will provide expert IT consultancy to a range of clients, scoping, designing, and delivering Azure solutions across several industry sectors. You will work in a project-focused environment dedicated to delivering first-class service and demonstrating the tangible value of client platforms.
What You'll Do
- Meet with clients to architect cloud-based solutions aligned with their specific business needs.
- Compile high-level and low-level design documents based on customer requirements.
- Hold workshops with customers on various technical and strategic topics.
- Provide an escalation point for the Service Desk for more complex technical issues.
- Assist customers with cost management and optimization of their Azure environments.
What We're Looking For
- Expertise in Azure Architecture (IaaS & PaaS) and Azure Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based deployment methodologies.
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and Azure CLI.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using ARM Templates and Terraform.
- Solid understanding of Disaster Recovery and High Availability technologies.
- Solid networking knowledge.
- Strong English language, documentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and consultative skills, with the ability to influence and shape solutions.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to diagnose problems quickly with foresight into potential issues.
Nice to Have
- Experience with containerisation technology.
- Knowledge of the Azure DevOps platform.
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
