Temporary employees will be hired through a W-2 payroll partnership with Cypress HCM. Project Details The organization will establish a Solar Monitoring Station (SMS) near Westfield, IL in Clark County. The approximately 700ft2 site includes solar panels, two 7-foot tripods, and scientific measurement equipment enclosed by fencing. The station will monitor solar radiation and meteorological parameters. Weekly maintenance requires consistent data collection over approximately 12 months. Responsibilities include: 1. Serve as primary equipment contact 2. Ensure equipment remains level and clean 3. Provide troubleshooting and low-medium complexity repairs 4. Remove site obstructions (grass cutting, snow removal) 5. Confirm system security and integrity Each maintenance visit should take 60-90 minutes. Digital documentation, including logbook entries and photo uploads, requires an additional 45-90 minutes. Total time commitment is 2-4 hours weekly, including travel. Occasionally, a Senior Engineer might request equipment replacement assistance, providing comprehensive onsite support. Qualifications No prior solar experience required. Remote training will be provided.
