MSX International is hiring an Automotive Technical Support Specialist

Role Overview

As an Automotive Technical Support Specialist, you will serve as a key technical resource for repair centers and internal teams across Europe. Your primary responsibility will be diagnosing complex vehicle issues, identifying root causes, and guiding repair processes to ensure accurate and efficient resolutions. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction within the automotive network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert-level technical support for vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures.
  • Respond to technical inquiries from dealership technicians and internal departments.
  • Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring proper repair pathways.
  • Document technical cases and outcomes in internal systems with precision and clarity.
  • Coordinate field visits with engineers when on-site support is required.
  • Support training initiatives and knowledge sharing across technical teams.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and service staff to identify recurring issues and trends.
  • Arrange and oversee vehicle testing or servicing when necessary.
  • Escalate unresolved cases with complete documentation and technical context.
  • Help improve service efficiency and customer outcomes through consistent, high-quality support.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of five years’ hands-on experience in automotive repair, preferably in a senior workshop or dealership environment.
  • Formal qualification in automotive technology or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience with diagnostic equipment and digital repair platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
  • Customer-focused mindset with effective communication abilities.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English is required.

Preferred Background

  • Advanced understanding of vehicle mechanical systems.
  • HV/EV certification such as IMI Level 4, DGUV L2+, or equivalent is highly desirable.
