National General (Allstate) is hiring an Auto Telephone Claims Adjuster I, II, or Sr to investigate and confirm facts of loss for complex automobile accidents. You will determine coverage, liability, and damages, adjusting and negotiating claims within your authority while mentoring junior employees.
What You'll Do
- Determine subrogation or fraud potential for complex cases
- Apply an advanced understanding of company and industry insurance policies
- Handle all aspects of complex auto claims investigation (coverage, liability, damages) with discretion and increased authority
- For claims involving injuries, review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims
- Recognize vehicle body parts and understand other potential property damage
- Identify customer needs and meet them using appropriate customer service skills
What We're Looking For
- 3 or more years of relevant claims adjusting experience
- Ability to handle complex investigations and exercise increased authority
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Nice to Have
- A 4-year Bachelor's Degree
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $52,000 - $85,000 annually
