Bureau Veritas is hiring an Auditor to organize and conduct audits, assess client compliance, and ensure timely production of quality reports. You will be responsible for the full audit lifecycle across a diverse range of industrial sectors.
What You'll Do
- Organize and participate in the setup and planning of audits.
- Carry out document reviews and prepare the audit plan.
- Lead audit activities including opening and closing meetings, conducting interviews, and preparing conclusions.
- Assess client compliance for certification issuance or maintenance.
- Ensure timely production of high-quality audit and expense reports.
- Follow up on post-audit actions, including agreeing on non-conformities, reviewing corrective actions, and submitting paperwork.
- Issue audit reports and time-expense reports promptly.
- Ensure follow-up of certification and conduct follow-up audits per contract terms.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and remain current on changes in norms, regulations, and relevant areas.
- Maintain and share knowledge and skills to help develop business by providing leads.
What We're Looking For
- Varied industry sector experience across food manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, power and utilities, automotive, information technology, mining, construction, industry, and oil and gas.
- Experience conducting either third-party or second-party audits.
- Previous positions with responsibility for Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, and Information Security management systems.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with management system standards, compliance, and auditing techniques.
- Ability to work on your own initiative with excellent organizational skills.
- Available time for training and qualification purposes.
Nice to Have
- Proven knowledge of schemes such as ISO 9K, ISO 14K, ISO 45K, ISO 27K, and ISO 50K.
- An advantage if already qualified to Lead Auditor Status in the above-mentioned standards.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
