TD Bank is looking for an Audit Manager I to provide subject matter expertise within its Financial Crimes Audit team. You will lead moderately complex audits, examining TD’s processes and providing recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Provide expertise in planning and executing end-to-end audits based on established plans, aligned with policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Lead the planning process for assigned audits, ensuring completion of appropriate risk assessments and programs.
- Support the audit opinion according to internal controls and professional standards, presenting findings and recommendations.
- Manage follow-ups on findings from regulatory and internal audits to ensure data is up-to-date and properly documented.
- Review and identify failures in internal processes, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay knowledgeable about emerging trends and developments related to the business and analytical tools.
- Act with the highest integrity, observing regulatory guidelines and handling confidential information with discretion.
- Build a fair and positive work environment where teams can openly report challenges and exchange ideas.
What We're Looking For
- Over 5 years of relevant experience with an undergraduate degree.
- Hands-on knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and Internet applications.
- Proficient in working multi-functionally, providing guidance to team members, and maintaining good cross-team relations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment.
Nice to Have
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, CFCS) or accounting designations (CPA).
- Knowledge of AML and Sanctions regulations (PCMLTFA/PCMLTFR) in Canada and US BSA AML requirements.
