JLL is looking for an Audio Visual Technician for a 1-year fixed-term contract (CDD) to join our team. You will be responsible for providing white-glove technical support for meetings and ensuring the proper functionality of all AV equipment in our corporate environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide white-glove technical support for internal, customer, and executive meetings.
- Proactively identify potential AV issues and provide solutions.
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of video conferencing services (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx).
- Provide expertise for the deployment and operation of Crestron Flex and VTC codec.
- Review standard setup specifications for meetings and contact clients to configure rooms.
- Perform dry runs, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of audio and video devices.
- Ensure conference room standards for cleanliness, temperature, functionality, signage, and seating.
- Respond promptly to client requests and ensure consumables are available.
- Troubleshoot and maintain audio-video systems, media control systems, and associated wiring.
- Put in tickets with the IT department for AV technology issues.
- Perform regular software/firmware updates, preventive maintenance, and routine repairs.
- Perform some commissioning and programming.
What We're Looking For
- 2 years’ experience in a client/customer service-oriented environment, preferably in a corporate conference center.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office in an office environment.
- Network skills and familiarity with integrated AV systems.
- Fluent French speaker with a good command of English.
- Ability to learn new software as required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- A consistently professional appearance and demeanor.
- Experience with a hotel, corporate conference center, or large enterprise systems.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience OR High School education with 3+ years of related experience.
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage time well.
- Experience with EMS or any web-based conference room scheduling system.
- CTS Certification.
- Crestron, AMX, or Extron Certifications.
- DSP Programming (BIAMP, QCS).
