National General is hiring an Attorney-Represented Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster to manage basic to advanced automobile accident claims remotely. In this role, you will investigate facts of loss, determine coverage and liability, evaluate damages, and negotiate settlements within your authority, contributing to a team that is shaping the future of protection.
What You'll Do
- Investigate all aspects of bodily injury claims, including coverage, damages, subrogation, and litigation, with discretion and increased authority.
- Apply an intermediate understanding of insurance policies, industry practices, and organizational relationships.
- Determine potential for subrogation or fraud and develop appropriate handling strategies.
- Identify customer needs and apply appropriate customer service skills to meet them.
- Recognize vehicle parts and understand other potential property damage.
- Partner with assigned representatives on fraud or subrogation claims to achieve optimal outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses.
- Availability to work core hours from 8am to 5pm Pacific Time.
- Experience handling homeowner, commercial, or auto liability claims.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- A customer service orientation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management from a global case management perspective.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to detect differences and recognize issues from multiple sources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Nice to Have
- 2+ years of experience handling attorney-represented bodily injury claims.
- Experience managing nonstandard auto insurance claims.
- Familiarity with California-specific claims handling practices and regulations.
- Litigation experience.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $45,000–$99,190.
- Full range of benefits dependent on level and position offered.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be located in California, Nevada, Oregon, or Arizona.
