GFIC is hiring a Sales Manager for Flavours and Food Distribution to drive B2B sales and business growth across Eastern Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, and Hungary. This is a home-office-based role focused on acquiring new customers, building lasting relationships, and managing the regional sales strategy for food ingredients and flavours.
What You'll Do
- Actively identify and acquire new B2B customers across Eastern Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, and Hungary.
- Develop and expand long-term customer relationships.
- Plan, implement, and achieve the regional sales budget and overall sales targets.
- Manage and close sales projects, prepare quotations, and follow up on offers.
- Conduct customer loss analyses and develop win-back strategies.
- Create and monitor contracts, including action plans for deviations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through professional handling of feedback and complaints.
- Prepare sales reports and analyses to steer sales activities.
- Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events.
What We're Looking For
- Sales experience in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, and Croatia.
- Sales experience with Flavours and/or Food Ingredients.
- Degree in Food Technology or a similar field.
- Knowledge of the food or beverage industry, or relevant technical expertise.
- Excellent German and English language skills.
- Valid driving license.
- High willingness to travel across the assigned region.
- Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Very organized, reliable, and positive thinking.
- Confident use of MS Office and experience with an ERP system.
