StartSteps Digital Education GmbH is hiring a Student Admissions Consultant | Bildungsberatung und Kundenbetreuung. In this consultative sales role, you will guide prospective students through admissions and enrollment for tech career training programs, supporting them through the full process including securing funding.
What You'll Do
- Guide prospective students through admissions and enrollment, helping them become course participants.
- Provide reliable, fast, and high-quality support that helps fill cohorts.
- Maintain admissions paperwork with a very high level of accuracy.
- Run initiatives to improve the experience of potential students, using customer experience and success metrics.
- Respond to enquiries across channels including phone, video calls, WhatsApp, and email.
- Build strong relationships with the Agentur für Arbeit and Jobcenter and continuously improve internal knowledge of their processes.
- Represent StartSteps at information events.
- Work across stakeholders and teams to complete daily operational tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent in German and English (C1+ in both).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and can match the style, tone and voice of StartSteps.
- Enjoys talking to people, brings empathy and knows how to get candidates excited about new opportunities.
- Proven attention to detail, able to follow processes accurately, especially in data entry and documentation.
- Works well in a team and is ready to jump in. Proactively flags issues early and communicates with the team.
- Comfortable trying out and using new technical tools.
- Strong at building and maintaining relationships with public institutions.
- Can work across stakeholders and teams to complete daily operational tasks.
Nice to Have
- Sales experience is a strong plus.
- Has experience using a CRM (Pipedrive is a big plus).
