Lead and evolve a high-impact direct mail content team dedicated to advancing progressive causes. In this role, you'll guide a group of skilled writers, shaping creative strategies that resonate with audiences and drive measurable results for mission-driven organizations and political campaigns.
What You’ll Do
- Direct and expand the agency’s creative direct mail capabilities, ensuring work is both innovative and effective
- Mentor and manage content team members, supporting their growth with fairness and intention
- Develop authentic, data-informed creative strategies for nonprofits, Democratic leaders, and political challengers
- Collaborate across departments on integrated campaigns and special initiatives
- Contribute to new business efforts by crafting compelling creative narratives in proposals and pitches
- Balanced oversight of client content portfolios while leading broader creative direction
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 7 years in direct response marketing or direct mail, with a focus on nonprofit or political sectors
- Proven leadership experience managing creative teams and developing writers
- Demonstrated ability to generate bold, unconventional ideas that break through the noise
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive team environments
- Experience in business development is valued
