ALICE + OLIVIA is seeking an Associate Technical Designer to play a key role in the accurate and efficient creation of our garments. You will support the entire product design process, ensuring the highest standards of fit and quality for our woven product categories.
What You'll Do
- Accurately measure fit, Pre-Production, and Top of Production samples.
- Update all Tech Packs with any product changes or revisions.
- Organize and maintain the sample library.
- Assist the Technical Design team with pattern corrections and draping for selected styles.
- Work across multiple woven categories, including tops, bottoms, and outerwear.
- Identify fit, construction, and workmanship issues, communicating corrections to the factory.
- Ensure the accuracy of product measurements, quality, construction, and fit.
- Enter detailed fit comments and product pictures into Excel, adhering to brand calendars.
- Add and update construction detail sketches using Adobe Illustrator, Excel, or other systems.
- Confirm correct grade rules in tech packs to ensure compliant fits across all sizes.
- Participate in fit sessions, provide recommendations, and log critiques to address issues efficiently.
- Independently prioritize and manage your workload under tight deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- 2-3 years of experience in the apparel industry in technical design or pattern making.
- A team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize a complex workload.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- A solid understanding of patterns, fit, garment construction, grading, and fabrics.
- Proven ability to adhere to calendars and meet production deadlines.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PLM).
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
Nice to Have
- A 4-year college degree with training in Technical Design.

You will collaborate closely with the Technical Design Lead and the Production team, playing a crucial support role within the Technical Design function.
Benefits & Compensation
- Base Salary: $70,000-$75,000
