DomainTools is looking for an Associate Solutions Engineer - APAC focused on helping enterprise customers in the APAC region operationalize our product suite. You will act as the primary technical resource during the customer engagement process, providing support during discovery, demonstration, and proof of concept phases while contributing to a world-class customer experience in our collaborative and energetic environment.
What You'll Do
- Learn to effectively communicate DomainTools technical architecture and product capabilities to assist in customer implementation.
- Provide T2/T3 technical support by triaging tickets and liaising with product and engineering teams for timely resolutions.
- Deliver technical product presentations and demonstrations, primarily via remote teleconference but occasionally on-site or at trade shows.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to deliver targeted demonstrations linking product capabilities to specific customer use-cases.
- Become an expert in delivering the DomainTools Engage training program to help customers derive more value.
- Become an expert on Cyber Threat Intelligence, DomainTools data, and the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and test new features across all products.
- Diligently document best practices, lessons learned, and contribute to internal documentation and learning content.
- Utilize platforms like Confluence, Jira, Zendesk, and Salesforce to track product information, features, bugs, opportunities, and account details.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise SaaS environments, including with Fortune 500 companies, in a similar customer-facing role.
- Working knowledge or recent experience with scripting languages, modern object-oriented programming languages (reading code), databases, and analytical tools.
- Experience communicating effectively with customer engineers about a product’s technical capabilities, including API endpoints and integration use cases.
- Experience in active troubleshooting of complex technical issues.
- Fast learner, insatiably curious, and adept at understanding, articulating new technologies, and their value propositions on the fly.
- Ability to excel in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Flawless communicator, agile in translating high-level technical concepts for non-technical audiences and vice versa.
Nice to Have
- Experience or familiarity with the Cybersecurity industry.
- Understanding of common OS, Browser, OSI Stack, DNS, Domain Registration, TCP/IP, and networking technologies.
- Good understanding of various firewall and web proxy technologies.
- Working knowledge of SIEM / TIP / SOAR platforms.
- Familiarity with JSON / RESTful API endpoints.
- Familiarity with Big Data concepts and managing large on-premise datasets.
