CG Life is hiring an Associate Project Director to serve as a strategic leader in project management, responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of multi-faceted agency projects. You will ensure high-quality project delivery on time and within budget, while optimizing processes, managing risk, and serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Own the tactical planning, activation, and execution of work for a large $6-8M account or 2-3 brands/franchises.
- Oversee a team in developing tactical project plans, ensuring proactive activation and seamless implementation.
- Own project facilitation throughout the entire lifecycle, navigating ambiguity and proactively driving resolutions.
- Oversee project scheduling, estimation, scope management, and budget tracking, making strategic decisions when issues arise.
- Own budget management from initial estimates through revenue reconciliation.
- Ensure all team projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, escalating risks and driving solutions.
- Oversee forecasting and strategic capacity planning for an assigned book of work.
- Analyze project health, identify risks, and document key decisions.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, trust, and accountability while motivating internal stakeholders.
- Adapt communication styles for different audiences and support strategic internal communications.
- Oversee strong client relationships and act as a key client point of contact for executional and strategic communications.
- Champion existing tools and processes while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Lead by example and provide training, mentorship, and onboarding support.
- Effectively manage, guide, and coach direct reports.
- Serve as the escalation point for a team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Coordinators.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in agency and/or project management at an integrated advertising agency.
- Multi-channel marketing expertise, including media planning and execution.
- Proven financial responsibility for up to $3M in revenue and oversight for up to $8M.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects, integrated campaigns, and large-scale product launches.
- Highly collaborative and solution-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple projects professionally.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and inspire teamwork.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proactive problem-solver skilled at anticipating roadblocks and mitigating risks.
- Expertise in project management tools, methodologies, risk management, scope management, and change management.
- Skilled in meeting management and facilitation.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant project management software.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with AOR or D/AOR clients within pharma strongly preferred.
- Experience with software development life cycles, web technologies, creative design processes, and digital strategy preferred.
