ICF is hiring an Associate Production SQL Server DBA to provide critical database administration for federal customers. In this role, you will ensure the health, security, and performance of SQL Server environments as part of our IT Modernization division.

What You'll Do

Provide expertise in SQL Server database administration.
Install database scripts and software applications on database and web servers.
Analyze and define database and security requirements.
Develop database queries and apply patches in test environments.
Coordinate with testing teams for backup, rollback, and recovery plans.
Perform health checks for Windows servers and SQL databases, troubleshooting abnormalities.
Configure and maintain database maintenance plans for backup and recovery.
Configure and maintain DB Transactional Replication.
Configure and maintain Always On Availability Group (AAG).
Configure, maintain, and support databases in an enterprise operations environment.
Support Data-at-Rest encryption.
Interface with production support and development teams to resolve database issues.
Troubleshoot issues from problematic scripts, IIS configuration, and application errors.
Conduct code reviews and test installation scripts and deployment guides.
Work in a team environment supporting various groups and user types.
Communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of experience in SQL Server.
1+ years of experience with IIS and Service Accounts.
1+ years of experience with Windows Server.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
U.S. Citizenship required per federal regulations.
Active Secret clearance.
