The Options Clearing Corporation is seeking an Associate Principal, Technology Resilience to join our team. You will directly support the Director, Business & Technology Resiliency in maturing our technology resiliency program. This role is accountable for ensuring Disaster Recovery plans are updated and tested as required, and for conducting critical Technology Impact Assessments.
What You'll Do
- Lead the Technology Resiliency Function.
- Administer and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) plans, holding IT accountable for timely updates.
- Assess DR testing results and identify gaps in RTO/RPO.
- Ensure clear DR plan ownership.
- Conduct Technology Impact Assessments (TIA), including development, coordination, data collection, analysis, and ongoing support.
- Test OCC recovery from Cyber Events.
- Perform ongoing validation of BMR capabilities and ensure proper systems are in scope.
- Incorporate cyber threats resulting in resiliency risk for applications and business processes.
- Participate in and monitor DR exercises.
- Perform Control Self Testing as assigned.
- Monitor capabilities for the Operational Recovery Enclave (VDI in the Cloud).
- Monitor risk of provisioned access, credentials, privilege, and key availability.
What We're Looking For
- Audit experience or experience conducting vendor assessments.
- Strong project/time management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with Technology Impact Assessments or Business Impact Assessments.
- Strong documentation, technical writing, and process analysis/improvement skills.
- A professional certification in business continuity, disaster recovery, security, audit, crisis management, or related area is required or must be obtained within 12 months (ABCP, CBCP, CISSP, CISA, and similar).
- A Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience.

- Understanding of the financial services sector and the markets.
