Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment and management of Atlassian Data Center products including Jira and Confluence
- Design highly available and scalable infrastructure for enterprise-grade applications
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure system reliability
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies
- Monitor system performance and optimize for efficiency and uptime
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across clusters and data centers
- Enforce security standards and compliance requirements
- Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team
- Drive automation of operational tasks and deployment pipelines
- Evaluate and integrate new Atlassian features and updates
- Support incident response and root cause analysis
- Ensure smooth upgrades and version migrations
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs
- Document system architecture and operational procedures
- Promote observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting
- Contribute to technical strategy and long-term roadmap planning
- Ensure alignment with enterprise IT policies and standards
- Optimize database performance and storage configurations
- Lead performance tuning and capacity planning initiatives
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
- Integrate Atlassian tools with CI/CD and DevOps ecosystems
- Manage add-ons and plugins to extend platform functionality
- Support hybrid and multi-data center topologies
- Collaborate on cloud transition strategies where applicable
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements
