About the Role

ezCater is hiring an Associate People Business Partner, Operations to join our People Strategy & Development team. In this remote-friendly role, you'll partner closely with front-line leaders and team members, providing HR guidance and supporting key talent programs and strategic people initiatives within our high-growth environment.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to front-line and mid-level leadership on performance management, employee relations, policy interpretation, and employee engagement.
  • Partner with managers to improve engagement, retention, and morale through the execution of custom people initiatives, solutions, and interventions.
  • Manage and resolve low-to-moderate complexity employee relations and performance matters. Conduct initial fact-finding for investigations and escalate high-risk cases.
  • Facilitate core people processes and programs for your client group, including annual compensation reviews, performance cycles, goal setting, and departures.
  • Monitor people metrics and stay interview themes to identify trends and proactive solutions.
  • Ensure practices are conducted in a way that is equitable and consistent.
  • Participate in cross-functional HR projects and initiatives, as required.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a dedicated People Business Partner capacity.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, approachable, and personable; able to build and maintain trusted relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Able to understand the big picture and execute work that supports strategic direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Action-oriented with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, with the ability to follow through on commitments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting an Operations or Customer Service function.

Team & Environment

You will be part of the People Strategy & Development team, reporting to a Senior Manager, People Business Partner.

  • Compensation: $67,000–$99,000 annually (total target cash compensation, including base salary and bonus target).
