About the Role

RIA Recruiting is hiring a permanently remote Associate Financial Advisor to support Lead Advisors by managing their books of business and ensuring seamless operational execution. You will be responsible for preliminary financial plan development, client onboarding, account maintenance, and coordination across teams to deliver exceptional client service.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare financial plans in coordination with Lead Advisors and participate in client meetings for plan delivery and execution.
  • Own day-to-day operational tasks, including attending client meetings, coordinating follow-ups and portfolio updates, and resolving client requests accurately.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as compliance, investment operations, and client service, to execute client activities efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate client records, manage CRM data, and generate reports to track client activity and portfolio performance.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understand their financial goals, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Stay informed on financial market trends and regulatory changes, adhering to all requirements and implementing risk mitigation measures.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • CFP designation.
  • 1-3 years of experience working as an advisor or planner.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects successfully and learn new concepts and software quickly.
  • Independently motivated with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong educational credentials, analytical background, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify, meet, and follow through with client needs and interact effectively as a goal-oriented team player.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, phone, and client service skills with a positive attitude.
  • Experience and ability to work from home while maintaining a professional setting.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Salesforce (or other CRM software), financial planning software, Orion, and Microsoft Office tools.

Team & Environment

You will support financial advisors and collaborate closely with internal teams including compliance, investment operations, and client service departments.

  • Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000

Work Mode
