tölt is hiring an Associate Enrollment Specialist

About the Role

Cigna Healthcare is hiring an Associate Enrollment Specialist to serve as the primary support and relationship builder for prospective students exploring online degree programs. In this role, you will guide prospects through the entire enrollment process, educating them on program details, financing options, and licensure requirements, using consultative skills to align solutions with individual needs.

What You'll Do

  • Utilize organization and forecasting methodology to build and manage a strong pipeline with multiple points of contact per student.
  • Guide prospects through the enrollment process: qualifying readiness, investigating needs, presenting features and financing options, recommending programs, and asking for the business when appropriate.
  • Interact with customers continuously via phone, chat, social media, and email throughout the day, focusing on 'warm' leads for Bachelor, Master, or PhD programs.
  • Leverage automation tools and complex software applications to manage student data.
  • Commit to continuous training to become an expert on dynamic product offerings and establish credibility.
  • Participate in team activities, support colleagues, take part in team discussions and 1:1 call coaching, and provide constructive feedback to management.
  • Create personalized pathways for students by assessing needs and being transparent to ensure fully informed decisions.

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to work 9am-6pm with periodic late coverage from 11am-8pm.
  • Must have strong desire to work in a mission-driven culture and work in the best interests of customers/students.
  • Experience with comprehensive customer-decision cycle, which often entails multiple contacts.
  • Experience representing high-value products and services to a diverse customer base.
  • Experience creating and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally should a business need arise.
  • Ability to work onsite in Corporate or Campus location may be required based on role.
  • If offsite or hybrid role, must have access to work in setting which enables meeting all requirements of the role at a remote location.
  • Must be able to meet critical thinking and problem-solving aspects aligned to job duties, as well as effectively communicating with co-workers.
  • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant.
  • Able to access information using a computer.

Nice to Have

  • Previous professional sales experience, preferably in Higher education admissions, Recruiting, Financial Services - Mortgage/Real Estate, Educational or training-industry sales, Referral-based sales roles, Fund-raising for non-profit organizations, or Retail sales of high-end solutions.
  • Relevant four-year degree but will accept additional work experience or a strong resume and portfolio in place of a degree.
