Baptist Health is looking for an Advanced Nursing Extern to join the team at Baptist Medical Center East. This position offers a valuable opportunity to develop clinical skills and provide direct patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
- Perform basic clinical procedures and assist with daily patient activities
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the care team
- Document care provided in patient records according to hospital policy
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program (RN)
- Completion of fundamental nursing clinical coursework
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
