BioMarin is hiring an Associate Director SAP, Master Data: RTR & STP to be responsible for the quality and integrity of master data supporting Record to Report and Source to Pay operations. What You'll Do
- Review, perform impact assessments, and approve master data requests from business users, ensuring compliance with business rules and governance standards.
- Monitor and analyze master data issues and errors, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with Process Leads to design, document, implement, and improve business and data quality rules, KPIs, standards, workflows, and reports.
- Provide training and guidance to Data Specialists and end users on master data policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Perform data analysis to identify continuous improvement opportunities that drive business efficiency.
- Report and manage issues, risks, and scope of impact, and prepare business cases for identified gaps and improvements.
- Act as a change champion for transformation and operational activities both functionally and cross-functionally.
- Help develop and implement processes to simplify and standardize data practices in line with SAP first and fit standard design philosophies.
- Build partnerships through collaboration with global, functional, and regional teams on operational and planning initiatives.
- Partner with functional management to assess and manage change impacts to data quality, operations, and processes.
- Develop and manage robust methodologies to maintain and report on the consistency and quality of global master and transactional data.
- Collaborate on the development of internal and external data audit processes and execute them within your data domain.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing master data quality and governance in an SAP environment.
- Deep expertise in master data domains relevant to RTR and STP, including Supplier Master, PIRs, Source List, Bank Details, Chart of Accounts, and WBS codes.
- Strong analytical skills for impact assessment, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Experience designing and implementing data quality rules, standards, and workflows.
- Ability to train and guide both specialists and end users on data policies and best practices.
- Excellent partnership and collaboration skills to work with global, functional, and regional teams.
- Skill in managing change, assessing impacts, and championing transformation initiatives.
