Humana Inc. is looking for an Associate Director, Informatics to support Patient Safety analytics for the Medicare population. This role demands mastery in developing, interpreting, and communicating advanced analytics to audiences across varying levels of leadership and data literacy. A core responsibility is translating complex findings into compelling narratives that drive strategic decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Support Patient Safety analytics for the Medicare population.
- Develop, interpret, and communicate advanced analytics to audiences across varying levels of leadership and data literacy.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, compelling narratives that drive strategic decision making, particularly for executive leadership.
- Contribute to mid- and long-term planning to ensure effective creation, maintenance, and enterprise-wide distribution of data assets for all Patient Safety measures.
- Engage in significant cross-functional collaboration to support outreach initiatives, including study design, vendor partnership management, and marketing support.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Healthcare, Informatics, Computer Science or a related field.
- 6 or more years of data analytics experience.
- 2 or more years of leadership experience with direct reports (ideally leading a remote team).
- Experience with reporting, from dealing with large data sets to report production.
- Experience with data mining, predictive modeling techniques and using data to drive business outcomes and decisions.
- Technical proficiency in coding and data visualization tools such as SAS, Python, PowerBI or similar.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information and present findings and insights to non-technical professionals and executive level leadership.
- Strong attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree.
- Experience in PQA/NCQA measure analytics.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in CMS Stars and/or MTM analytics.
- Advanced experience in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling.
