About the Role

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of ecological projects, managing teams and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage ecological projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and implement ecological strategies and plans.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Manage and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct ecological assessments and impact studies.
  • Prepare and review technical reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify and mitigate ecological risks and issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality and safety standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications and related documentation.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in ecology.
  • Participate in business development activities and proposals.
  • Ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and studies.
  • Ensure the integration of ecological considerations into project designs.
  • Provide expert advice on ecological matters to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the implementation of sustainable ecological practices.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Certification in a relevant ecological discipline.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a similar organization.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Experience in working with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental impact assessment processes.
  • Experience in conducting ecological risk assessments.
  • Proficient in using ecological software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in conducting environmental audits and compliance checks.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable ecological practices.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations.
